long hair, which is kept hidden in a tower. In this version of the fairy tale, the girl’s hair possesses magical power to heal. The power she has is derived from her mother, who was given a flower potion during childbirth to save her life. This magical flower was taken form the king’s men from an old woman, who was carrying for it and when she discovered what magical power it has given to the newborn – she decided to steal the baby. She kept Rapunzel in a high tower for 18 years and used her hair to rejuvenate herself through the years. But then a hero comes – Flynn who was in fact a thief, stole a crown from Rapunzel’s father – the king. On his way to escape the king’s men, Flynn finds the tower where the girl is kept. Rapunzel’s biggest wish is to go to town and watch thousands of lanterns, released on her birthday. Flynn reluctantly agrees to take her there and thus their exciting journey full of obstacles and funny moments begins.
Finally, they manage to go to town and see the magnificent sky lit with thousands flying lanterns and it turned out Rapunzel was the princess they were commemorating.
