Wish Lantern UK was founded in 2008 by Company Owner Robert Laughton, who had first seen traditional “khoom fay” being launched in mass ceremonies on his honeymoon in Thailand. He was so captivated by the idea of the flying lanterns he brought them over to the UK as Wish Lanterns.
Wish Lanterns should be released with a wish upon the stars, and with the good luck that they tradtionally symbolise, you never know… you may just get what you wish for.
