Wish Lantern And Make-A-Wish Charity

Wish Lantern started our relationship with Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK in March 2009 and a percent of all our Wish Lantern sales are sent on a monthly basis to the charity. For details on the charity please click on the logo below.

Make-A-Wish grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. Make-A-Wish was founded in the UK in June 1986 and, since then, has granted over 5,300 wishes. At any given time, over 20,000 children in the UK are living with life-threatening conditions and its aim is to grant 21 wishes a week by the year 2010. Whether a wish is to be a princess or a policeman for a day, own the latest computer equipment, meet a favourite celebrity or just enjoy some special time away from home with their family, a wish come true brings so much to a child’s life and provides memories for the family that last a lifetime.

"I have used many many sky candles / wish lanterns etc in the past, some good and some bad. I bought 50 from this website as it was for a friends wedding and although they were a few pounds more expensive than another site I wanted guaranteed quality which this site seemed to claim. I was astounded by the excellent quality of the lanterns, the paper is thick so will be less likely to rip when being unfolded by champagne weary guests (lanterns not to be used whilst intoxicated by the way), the fuel cell is attached and unfolds a little which makes it much easier to light than normal fuel cells and they seem to be much bigger than the lanterns I have used previously. Excellent excellent product and fast delivery. Highly recommended.(give 5 stars),cheers, I�m very happy with the product � keep up the good work!"
