So you're gonna tell me that you don't have no black cats, no Roman Candles, or screaming mimis? You got no lady fingers, fuzz buttles, snicker bombs, church burners, finger blasters, gut busters, zippity do das, or crap flappers?

You're gonna stand there, ownin' a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistlin' bungholes, no spleen splitters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker don'ts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistlin' kitty chaser?

I am an event planner and I think the Wish Lanterns are absolutely beautiful! They have definitely become popular in the past year and rightfully so! They make the moment magical, especially for newlyweds. There is a lot of worry about fire hazards and littering, but if you take the proper care and read the instructions, everything should be fine. Thanks for the Eco-lanterns! You will continue to make many events memorable!

Are sky lanterns any more dangerous than fireworks? Nobody is suggesting fireworks should be banned although they are potentially more of a fire risk than lanterns. Also, I have yet to see anybody put forward documented unbiased research which gives the number of incidents involving cattle eating lanterns, or fires started by lanterns. There is a lot of outraged comment and heresay reports but little in the way of facts.

HEY ALL, I READ INTO USING SKY LANTERNS AS PER A TRADITION FOR MY WEDDING AND HAVE DECIDED THAT NOT ONLY WILL I USE THEM, BUT I WILL (THE FULL MONTH PRIOR TO THE RELEASE DATE) WILL BE USING OUR LOCAL NEWSPAPER AND CHANNEL TO TELL ALL OF THE RELEASE. THIS IS SO NO ONE IS FRIGHTENED OF THE LIGHTS AND THE PAPER AND CHANNEL WILL ALSO HAVE MY PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS AS TO BE USED IF SOMEONE IS TO FIND THE LANTERN AND MY FAMILY AND I WILL COME AND COLLECT IT AND CLEAN UP. IF A BRIDE GOES THROUGH ALL THE TROUBLE OF CONSTANTLY MONTH PRIOR TO RELEASE TELLS ALL THE PEOPLE THEN I BELIEVE THAT THEY SHOULD BE FINE. AND I HAVE PERSONALLY TESTED A FEW LANTERNS WITH TRACKING PHONES ATTACHED AND THEY ALWAYS ARE COMPLETELY EXTINGUISHED AND NEVER HOT WHEN I COLLECTED THEM. I DON'T BUT TESTING AND WARNING AND COLLECTING SHOULD BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE PUBLIC. THANK YOU ADMINISTRATOR FOR STILL LOOKING INTO MAKING ALL MORE BIODEGRADABLE. THEY ARE SO WONDERFUL TO CELEBRATE MY DAY.

I think that everyone is blowing this whole sky lantern thing way out of proportion. Anything new that comes along people are always going to complain about it. personally i like the sky lanterns, they pose a much lesser threat than fireworks.
I have used them in the past and i find them to be quite safe (i have watched them from flight to fall and the light always goes out when high in the sky) and they are just another thing for people to complain about.
Sure the farmer raises concerns about his livestock eating the wire and the fact that animals could get caught in them, but what about the likes of broken fences, which farmers use wire to build, do they not pose a threat to the livestock.
People need to stop complaining and start enjoying sky lanterns.
Get a Grip!!!!!

Thank you for all your comments regarding this and I am pleased to let you know that we now no longer sell any lanterns that contain wire. All of our lanterns are now 100% bio-degradable.
We aim to be a responsible seller of these products and have worked closely with our manufacturer and trading standards to make sure that all the guidelines stated on the packaging encourage safe and responsible use of the product.
