Quality first with Wish Lantern

February 26th, 2009 admin No comments

Those of you who log onto our Wish Lantern site on a regular basis may have noticed our Quality of Wish Lantern page. I just wanted to draw your attention to this section because it highlights the fact that with our Wish Lanterns you pay for quality first and foremost. While there are perhaps a couple of other companies who offer lanterns at marginally cheaper prices, there is a reason why they ask you to pay less.

Some of these brands come with a light fuse that is packaged separately, meaning you are required to go through the fiddly and frustrating process of attaching it yourself. In effect, you’ll be doing half the work. They also use thinner varieties of rice paper that are consequently more susceptible to damage, so that while you’re trying to assemble your lantern you may rip it, rendering it useless.

Not so with our sturdy lanterns. They are made from durable, high quality materials, and require no extra assembling. Your only job is to light the fuse and hey presto, you have lift off.

Take head, dear lantern lover, if you pay less with other companies, you’ll be paying more in the currency of time, energy, and frustration. We are so confident in the quality of our product that we offer a free sample to anyone who drops into our warehouse to collect one.

Some of team from Wish Lantern are lucky enough to be going overseas very soon and will be taking some Wish Lanterns along with them to launch in the countries they visit.

We have one member heading over the United States next week – his mission is to launch a Wish Lantern over the Grand Canyon and supply us with the beautiful photos! Another team member is headed to Austria for the Snowbombing festival  so it’s up to her to launch some of the coloured Wish Lanterns off in the  mountains, the colours should look amazing against the snowy backdrop.

If you’re going away somewhere in the near future why not take a Wish Lantern with you and send us the photos form the launch? We will be holding a competition in the very near future for the best photo we receive from our Wish Lantern customers so watch this space!

Wish Lanterns versus Sky Lanterns

February 14th, 2009 admin No comments

Many of our customers ask us the difference between a Wish Lantern and a Sky Lantern.

Wish Lanterns are known by different names in different areas of the world – and in the US and China they are commonly known as Sky lanterns. The term sky lantern is a literal translation of the chinese characters that are used in Chinese Kanji, but the sky lantern has been accepted into different areas of the world by different names.

Our Wish lanterns are a very high quality sky lantern – and we are the only importers of this product into the UK and the USA. They are easy to use and come complete with simple to follow instructions.
