Wish Lanterns Mistaken for UFOs

wish lanterns can look like UFOsThere’s nothing like a bit of excitement brewing over the sightings of UFOs; people work each other up, getting spooked out over mysterious lights floating in the sky-and this is exactly what happened in Richmond, Virginia, just last weekend. People from all over the town had their camera-phones at the ready, to capture footage that would hopefully get them rich and catapult them to fame. Little did they know that a few miles down the road, the wedding of Elliot Norman and Jessica Winderwinkle (quite a name, we’re sure you’ll agree) was taking place, and, yes, you guessed it, they’d just released a load of wish lanterns to mark the end of their special day. In the midst of the chaos, the couple were dancing and celebrating their marriage, and only a couple of days later, thwarted the attempts of many civvies to get lots of exposure with their ‘UFO’ footage. Shame.
