Wish lanterns appear and Absolut Vodka

Over the years, we’ve been delighted to see more and more of our wish lanterns appearing in advertisements for all sorts of products and in various television programmes, ranging from billboards displaying the benefits of a particular bank account, to a food-lovers’ series, during which the presenters eat the cuisine enjoyed during the French Revolution and other significant periods of history. You may remember the HSBC adverts around Chinese new year, or Sue Perkins marvelling at how wonderfully simple yet effective wish lanterns were at making beautiful light in the night sky, both of which were reported in our blog. This time it’s Absolut Vodka who have jumped on the bandwagon, filming a mass-release of wish lanterns in their latest screen commercial. We see people gathered, being happy (as is usually the case when wish lanterns are involved), and looking awe-inspired by the spectacle they’re creating.
As beautiful as the advertisement is, we do of course continue to promote responsible drinking, and believe that all our clients and readers should do so when enjoying this product.
